If you buy a car which comes with aftermarket parts on it, are these parts valid to list?

    • Yes, of course. If toyota didnt put them on and a previous owner did then by all means they can be listed in your garage.

    • No, if you bought the car with the modifications fitted then you cannot take credit for them.

We need to settle this once and for all :D Me and Charis cannot agree on this so we shall let the people decide.

I've just setup the garage for my new supra this week and it came with the following on it.

Kakimoto Exhaust

Kenwood Double DIN Stereo

Bilstein Shocks

etc

Should i be allowed to list these?

Yes.

They are modifications different to factory spec.

I'm sure Milly has listed her full HKS Hyper system and 18s..... why not? they are modifications!!!

Of course you should. It's not like they're standard kit, is it? If someone has a bodykit fitted by a bodyshop, it's still a mod. It just has to be modified, not necessarily with your own blood, sweat and tears. :)

List 'em!

As long as they are sensible, genuine additions then by all means list them as modifications in the Garage. i.e Magic Tree air freshener is NOT a mod ! ( there's a few like that in the garage ).

Anyway, the garage doesn't specify WHO did the modification to the car, just what it is. If you can't include a modification that someone else put on then it's a false reflection of what has been done to the car.

Definately list them. After all, if you were to buy a fully modified car and someone were to come up to you and ask if it were modified. You wouldn`t say no would you?

They're mods - not standard spec, so list them!

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Are devil horns classed as "mods" - some say yes, some say no, I've listed them though.

as long as they are actual modifications to the motor sure u can list them :D

i wouldnt say that certain things that people list should be classed as mods though!!

certain people seem to think that Speakers come in SINGLES!!so a pair are classed as two mods and obviously the wire that u use also classes as a mod and the terminals and each sparkplug etc etc etc if u are modding your motor be REAlistic :eek:

Definately list them, they make it different from normal after all and are worthwhile mods to mention

Personally the devil horns and aluminium disc holder I've got are mods to me, no matter what they are
