    • Matching colour cars for him and her? - total no-no and should be avoided at all costs!

My car is Carlo Blue Mica - lovely colour

Richs car is currently green so no problem, however his possible new Corolla could possibly also be Carlo Blue Mica....

The car we've seen is lovely, got Sat Nav and everything so totally more than we wanted and is within budget - the problem for him is its the same colour as mine and he reckons its a bit sad and looks a bit "his n hers"

My argument is that its not like its the same car, its just the same colour, it's like having a silver Golf and a silver Mondeo on the drive - both silver but different cars

"Ahh but they're both Toyota and thats still a bit sad" he says

What do you guys think - matching Yaris' is going too far I think, but a Carlo Blue Yaris next to a Carlo Blue Corolla - is there any shame in that or should we steer clear of the car we prefer and go for another colour?

I really dont see a problem with this. If you like the car then go out and buy the car. After all they are to different cars ;)

If either of them got scuffed, You'd only need one touch-up-stick.

Can't really see the problem myself.

Some people have a Fiat on their driveways..........

No and neither can I. Love the idea about saving on touch up paint.

Like everyone has said. It really doesn't matter.

Get a grip, Rich! It's not like matching cardigans or anything. Nice car, nice deal, nice colour...

Why isn't it already bought?!!!

As long as your happy with the car, then what's in a colour?.. nothing. go for it.:)

I wouldn't worry about it. Around our way there are couples each with the same car in the same colour on their drive.

Nicola & my drive used to have two very similar cars on it, but they weren't the same colour. (only pic of our two together that I could find):

Ok, Rich is going today to "have a look"

I'm now no longer allowed to mention "it" because I've been on at him all weekend - every second word has been "Corolla" lol

Hes said if I can go without mentioning anything to do with "it" then he will be seriously considering "it":lol:

But if he buys one - I'll instantly shut up! :shutit: :lol:

pmsl Lee!

I really hope he gets one - he's still considering other makes, but beings as I'm not allowed to mention it anymore, I'm still worried he might go elsewhere - he's seen a Nissan Almera he really likes too which is a grand cheaper.....

As long as its a Almera GTi  now they are worth having imo! :P

No, its a 2.2 SE Diesel Sport, or something like that - I get confused with all the letters and numbers!

Plus if he gets a Toyota I've told him to join up, so you can all meet (and pity) the guy who puts up with me on a daily basis!:lol:

Not me. :D Does he like the car or not? It`s not like your going to be in a convoy everywhere. Just tell him to buy the car. Put your foot down woman.:lol::thumbsup:

Nope, doesnt matter imo, if he was after a Yaris the same colour that would maybe be pushing it a bit but as he's after a Corolla it doesnt matter. Colour would really be a poor reason not to buy a car (unless its red, thats different)
