The Longlife (not Powerflow) exhaust I had on my Rolla measured 92 decibels in the cab with all the windows and sunroof shut on the open road (much too loud - that's why it had to come off) but it sounded about twice that going through those tunnels :o

Ouch! That's gotta hurt the head. I had both windows down, coming from the docks side slowly in 2nd then giving her full throttle. It was so good I may do it again tonight, this time with the sunroof open! I'd better buy shares in Shell at this rate.

Jones32 - I've heard negative things about both Longlife and Powerflow, mainly about the quality. That's mainly why I went for my pro-speed system. I was tempted by the Mongoose system but wanted to tailor the looks and sound to my requirements. The mongoose had a 3" tail pipe which I found too big for my taste. I wanted a pretty subtle system.

A mate of mine had a powerflow on a 1.2 Corsa, some stupidly large size tail pipe, and sounded well naff really

are there any places that do Pro-Speed systems in the North-West around Manchester do you know? :bookworm:

Cheers

Mike

As far as I know Pro-speed are a cardiff based company with only 1 outlet. Sorry. Maybe you could join your local car club and see what other people recommend.

Anyway, after a week off I've touched up some chips (badly in some cases) and de-badged the car. I've left the front and back toyota logo's on as I quite like them. The badges came off easily, white spirit took care of the glue. T-cut has helped the paint fade but you can still see the "Corolla" imprint. I think more t-cut and polish will finally sort it. I'm pretty happy with the results, looks smoother now.

Still totally undecided about an induction kit/panel filter!
