Hmmm... it does look nice but better say no for now re the wheels. You know how it is, it'd need lowering immediately then it'd need the side skirts, then...

I'd haveta sell it and buy a real T Sport! :P

Top looking car, Matt. Your Mum must be well pleased.

Couldn't work out why it didn't look more like mine at first (apart from the wheels). Got it eventually. It's been a very long day.

One of the teachers at school has a grey colour collection, they look really nice, and a far less common than the ice blue CCs!

You are all right about the suspension, she likes it nice and comfy. The car next to the yaris is indeed a Civic and not a punto.

The Mini behind is also my mums but this is just left in the garage all year round and only comes out on special occassions.

Concidering my TS is only two weeks older than my mums collection, her car seems to be more solid and feels better made.

Is this something other people have noticed? or just me?

Ice Blue isnt available in the CC, it's on the Yaris Blue and T-Spirit's only - or rather it was until Toyota stopped it!

It's not exactly the same but I had an 04 Plate Yaris T3 before the Yaris Blue, and the Blue feels a lot more solid and better made than the T3 did. The Blue is based on the T3 model but has extra's and both were made in France too. Maybe the French Build Quality has (dare I say it) improved?

There has never ever been anything wrong with the French built cars anyway IMO! Both mine have been exceptional, I dunno if the Corolla is French built, I'm not sure. Isnt that built in the UK with the Avensis??

I dunno where all this "Jap is better than French" started anyway!

Although my newer T-Spirit has been more hard-wearing than my last T-Spirit, less cabin creaks and the like....

Maybe Pierre is building them now instead of Jacques?:lol:

Oh I think Jacques stiil did a bit of work on mine but it's the English/Welsh blokes working on it right now that I'm worried about after their recent track record at my dealers. :fear:

Yeah could be, or maybe they are drinking less of the Red Vino before building them  I'm glad it's not just me who has noticed that they seem to be better built than before.

The TS wheels came off his car as he has spangly new alloys on his TS.

Dropping a acr can be done at any decent garage, just buy whatever lowering springs/coilovers/dampers etc you want and get them fitted, or..... DIY! Toyota can supply springs which lower 30mm, but they cahrge twice as much for fitment as any other independant garage will do!

Oh, since your in leeds.... alpha tyres on Geldard road are pretty good... one of the guys is a bit of a tit, but they do a good job!
