A collegue of mine in work has bought a Glanza and needs to sort out all the import paperwork. Some of which he is having trouble with.

Can anyone outline the steps taken when buying an import motor and getting it registered?

He bought it from the south of Ireland so I think it needs type verification etc..

Cheers.

1996. Looks like yours. Wish I had one!

Does the Irish equivalent of the DVLA have any information on their website?

I used the UK one when I got my Sera imported. It's better though if you have a local office that you can go to. They talk you through the whole process. Takes a few visits ( or it did in my case ) but it's by far the easiest way to get through the red tape.
