Speaker Replacement In New Avensis

Hi!

Anyone that know how hard it is to change (upgrade) Speakers in the new (04) Avensis?

Just out of interest, why ?

One of the many things that I am delighted about with my Avensis is the Stereo system, and the Speakers produce massive amounts of bass without any problems.

In fact, I seem to be getting a similar sound to that I had in my old Focus, and that was running a Top of the range Sony Headunit, Alpine Amps (2) and Infinity components.

Funny that! I was just thinking the same thing. The stereo is a good feature, can't see the point in making work. :)

Same here really, moved from focus to T3-x and reckon the sound system is excellent, unless of course you've blown a speaker?

Well, there are mainly two things that bothers me.

1) I find the tweeter a bit to "sharp" for my ears.

2) The Speakers have a very "hifi"-like sound which is great when parked. When driving at 65mph there are a bit of noise (sometimes quite a lot of noise) and the midrange is covered with noise....makes it hard to listen to radio.

Well...it's not one of my highpriority projects, but it would be interestng to know if it is possible.

Anyone that knows if it possible to improve the reception of the radio with some simple tricks?

sound deaden the door fella, you can buy it from any good car accessory shops (inc. Halfords), and you jus stick it to the inside of ya door....... much quieter.
