Car Ramp For Hire

I am in the process of setting a workshop up for people to hire car ramps at a price per hour rating,

i was just wondering wether you people think this could be handy for us car enthusiasts who want to do our own work on our cars but sum jobs could be made easyer if we could get under the cars with out having to get messed up covered in oil and having a gear box on our foreheads while lay on your back.

if you think this is a crap idea i dnt mind you saying haha.

i personally havnt seen a set up like this but if you have please tell me about it and prices if u know of them. any help would be great. Im from derbyshire (Chesterfield).

well personally i wouldnt go for it as i got 2 4 poster ramps and also 2 pits but im not like the norm lol

as for the idea i think people would go for it or at least some would some peeps are just a scrooge so they can stay on there backs eh haha

I remember seeing garages like this years ago but they seem to have disappeared nowadays.

Think it could have been due to insurance issues, which you may want to check into before going too far forward.

IMO great idea and i would use them, but not sure if it can done in todays day and age of 'had an accident, we'll sue them for you'

yeh thats the only stumbling block with it "where theres a blame theres a claim crap" i havent got round to looking at insurance yet but im sure it will cost a bomb and it will have to be health and safety checked every year.

Im just asking about to see if there would be any interest with it b4 i even think about buying anything, ive already got 1 for my own use an it made me think about looking in to it on a bit bigger scale.

Is there many people on this forum in the north derbyshire area?
