Quick Question About Yaris Phases

Had a good read of the guides about fitting an aftermarket head unit in a yaris - decided to give it a go myself, rather than paying toyota £300. got my kenwood headunit and the PC2-17-4 (Toyota) adaptor; However I'm a abit confused and couldn't find the information by seraching - I see that a Phase 2 Yaris requires taking the speedometer off as well - how do I find out which Phase yaris I have?

Probably a really obvious and simple question! I have a 2001 Yaris GS if that helps?

Cheers, T-Bone :)

a p2 yaris is t2, t3, tspirit models, they have "tear drop" headlights aswell.

With yours being a 2001 gs it is a p1 yaris.

there are posts about this aswell!
