Anybody From Leeds With A Blue Yaris?

because i was in leeds today, behind a blue yaris with a TOC sticker in the back window :D

i drove all the way from warrington to leeds, to go look at a big bumper mk2 golf gti 8v in oak green - the run out model. i was seriously considering buying it (ive always wanted one in that colour) - it looked in good nick, hadnt been bumped and had a wad of service history ( which ended in 2002). then i drove it - the clucth was slipping, you couldnt drive it in 1st coz it kangarooed so bad, it graunched in 2nd, it sounded as if the exhaust was blowing, and it just felt really "sloppy". it was a real shame, as it had only had 3 owners and the 1st 2 had spent money on keeping it in good order. whoever'd had it last had just ran it into the ground. needless to say, i didn't buy it and drove home. only to discover i'd left my phone and wallet in the golf :censor: :ffs: :ph34r:

so i had to drive all the way back again :eek: i must give the dealer some credit though - he phoned my house to let someone know they were safe and to see if they could get hold of me before i got home.

well all i know is the dealer was on a road called summat like tong road, and i think i'd just left for the 1st time, so i was somewhere nearish there, on the way back to the M621 or something like that. might have been around 2.30 or 3 ish. can't remember now. it was dark blue anyway :P
