Ebay Buyers.. Beware Of This Seller

Ok... so i bought the greed undercar led kit.. from a seller named ng-007

the kit was 35 pounds and the shipping was (and i quote):

"1) No

2) Shipment to Israel will be £18.99

Thanks "

the "no" part is when i asked him whether its neon or led..

ok..

so... i paid him via paypal the same day my total.. and asked him yesterday:

"Did you send the kit already?" the reply i got was:

"This message was sent while the listing was active.

ng-007 is the seller.

Yes, it has been sent "

i said thnx... BUT... 3 hours after that... i got this message from him:

"Question from ng-007

Hi,

I am very sorry but the last set of green lighting kit I have is damaged. Sorry for the inconvenience and I will give you a refund in the next 2 days. "

so i replied:

"what about white? purple? when will you have more green ones?"

his reply is:

"I have run out of the rest for the moment. I can give you a refund if you like and tell eBay that deal fell through so we can both get our fees back."

all of this "talking" was made while his auctions are still active..

so... what do u think?

i mean.. "i can give a refund if u like?"??? WTF? no.. i dont want a refund.. i want you to take my money and go away...

what kind of a question is that... and should i talk 2 eBay bout it? or give a negative feedback about this dude?

I dont see the problem, he cant supply the product you brought, so hes going to get you a refund, that means you get your money back.

The courier might have informed him that they dropped it or something.

I agree, he seems reasonable - he doesnt have what you want, so is offering you your money back.

Perhaps ask him to contact you when he gets some in stock?

and no... it doesnt seem reasonable for someone to tell me he already sent the item, and suddenly its the last set and it is damaged... also, how come "he just ran out of other colors as well" and i asked him when he will be getting more.. he just replied he will refund me..

I think:-

You should tell him you would like a refund. If you get it and don't end up out of pocket (i.e. you don't lose out on any paypal fees), then I would just leave no feedback and leave it at that.

But if he's not genuine then you won't get your refund, in which case post negative feedback and contact eBay.

PS - bear in mind that if you do end up posting neg feedback before he's posted feedback for you then he could just post something negative about you, whether it's true or not, just to get even.
