sounds to me like you haven't done your homework. How come you've spent 800 smackers on something you know little about. If that was me i'd compare with other models in shops and on the net to get the best spec for the price.

Well i purchased it from a mate and it certainly looks like a good price aswell especially seeing he is fitting it all aswell, i was just wondering what others thought if they have been in the same boat as myself.

If I was spending £800 on something for the car I would do my homework get opinions and reviews and know exactly what I was getting for my money.

Seeing now you have it installed, go out and enjoy it and don’t worry about opinions after the event.

These are a good bit of kit to have in a car. I want one with a pop up screen that folds away into the unit. I dont trust toyota with it though, nor do i wanna spend the ££££.

I would have bought a sat nav instead (if you haven’t got one already) and kept the change, more practical as well.

Yes that's true but i already have a Tom Tom Go Sat Nav in my car. I also am able to plug in my ipod to the touch screen and control it via the screen although we are not sure if it will work as Kenwood don't even know if it will come up with artist names etc so it's hit and miss really.

Richs Sat Nav in his Corolla costs £2,000 as an optional extra - suppose that is from Toyota though so they'd obviously hack up the price, but you wouldnt get any change out of that! You'd owe them money! lol

Bloody good system though! Touch screen and everything - shame you cant get it for the Yaris IMO!

Seeing as you can’t have that system in the Yaris then I suppose your statement doesn’t apply.

I was refereeing to an after market kit, but seeing as he has one my statement doesn’t apply either.
