Evenin all,

Just thought id introduce myself as a new member on the forums! I have recvently bought a 1994 Celica GT, and have alighted the Vauxhall camp.

Very pleased with it, as with the Calibra and its modifications, im going to subtly style it into a GT4 LAL - dont know how popular that makes me...

Anyway, here she is, rubbish picture, shes been cleaned since it was taken but you get the idea :)

One question, what is the engine output of a 94 GT?

cheers lads,

Apprecaite the warm welcome...

she cleaned up lovely, got a load of megs car cleaning kit, used gold class wax on it and it looks stunning. They really are the most stunning cars, wanted one since i was 19 playing the original gran tourismo lol..

I like the look of the GT-4. The only thing missing from it is the air con, but i think thats only availble on GT-4's and some Jap import GTs (or SS1's?)

Again, thanks for the warm welcome, look forward to posting etc, and Jerry, that is close... nice to see theres at least some members near me :)

i like the look of them lowered on 17's with skirts more than GT4 copies

Didnt cost me much either to do it

mmnn, that car looks serious. I can also see a different spoiler on that...which one is it..?

The alloys should be coming in the next few months hopefully. The previous owner has sprayed the current ones with Halfords paint (!) which wouldnt look so bad but he omitted the centre caps...

It does need 17's and it definately needs lowering. Previous car was a Calibra 16v which was down -60mm, so being high definately has a noticable handling deficit :D

Also, ive found the sound to be different to what I expected, so a quality filter and exhaust system will be required soon aswell, when finances allow. Im definately going for quality rather than loud, been looking at a few websites claiming to have the best japanese filters etc in the world, but ill be more than willing to take advice on the subject, something with a nice rich sound rather than a bump and snarl...

WTTC mate, cars looking good.

the spoiler could be the same as yours, if yours only has the 2 ends attached to the hatch as the only differance is a pair of raiser blocks to make it into the WRC spoiler. but if your unlucky enought to have the 3 supports then it could make things a little difficult.

as for a quality air filter, Fensport sell the blitz SUS panel filter for about £30, after thats fitted remove the resenator box from the wing and that should do the trick for you :D

exhaust? one of my mates tried everywhere to buy an off the shelf system for his gen6 and ended up going for a custom system, also means you get to choose the style and sound of it.

Thanks again for the welcomes.

Yea, I thought that the spoiler looked similar, mines only got 2 supports so should be easy to sort :) Ill keep my eye out, I assume the supports just screw on both sides?

Blitz has been recommended before. Do they give off a nice induction note aswell?

As for custom systems, for my previous vauxhalls, I went to custom chrome for an exhaust... apart from powerflow is there anyone else that does decent ones? I was always concerned that the stainless steel wasn't so stainless on the custom ones, like a lower grade of metal?

Cheers mate :)

Longlife are supposed to be very good for exhausts. :)
