hi everyone

im seriously considering purchasing myself a 6th gen GT-Four and was wondering if anyone could help me out with a couple of queries:

1. what differences are there between the WRC special edition and the regular GT-Four? I believe the raised rear spoiler was standard on the WRC but was that an option on the regualr GT-Four? Sure there must be other differences too...

2. are there any differences in appearance (externally or internally) between the japanese Gt-Fours and the UK ones? Also im led to believe that MOST parts are the same on the UK and jap cars, but that must mean some arent. are these parts easy enough to get hold of should they be required?

3. were all colours available in both the UK and Japan?

Any help much appreciated, this is a big investment for me so id better get it right!!

Hello and welcome to TOC. I think i`m right in saying the WRC has a few extra bits on the engine that aren`t actually connected.Tho i don`t know what they are off the top of my head and why they`re not functional??? I have no idea. The chap you want to speak to about the Gen6 GT4 is GT4 BOOSTER. Top chappie. I expect he`ll be on soon enough, should be able to put your mind to rest.:thumbsup:

1. the difference between the wrc and regular are left over parts from the rally which dont work anyways, ie- anti lag valve which kept the turbo spooling all the time , so you never got turbo lag.a spray bar for the intercooler - performance wise they are both the same . 250 bhp approx

2.raised spoiler loses 20 kmh off the top speed.and yes it was an option.

3.i'd of thought the colors were the same

the wrc versions are rare and therefore worth a bit more.these cars were all built in japan and used the same parts - just some were shipped to uk .this whole import v's uk model for parts is just a business gaff , same as the insurance we pay.

here's mine totallt standard gt4 not wrc. a true beast of a motor
