Hey

Looking at buying a rev3 turbo, i am hoping to get something similar to the one below!

http://www.dealer.autotrader.co.uk/banners/20062.gif

I am undecided on whether to go for a t bar or not.Are the leather seats only available on the t-bars?

I was also wondering what if anything there is that needs replacing at certain milages intervals other than the usual belts etc!Is there anything like the suspension, turbos etc that have a certain life span?

Also what are the ervice intervals?

Thanks for any advice!

CB

The GT comes fully loaded as standard.. the GTS came basic with everything as an option apart from the leather interior i think..

Its your choice about the T-bar but it will be more on the insuarance and i havent met anybody who hasnt has trouble with leaking - im told its easily fixed - mine still leaks though :(

Take it for a test-drive in the rain if you can - only way to make sure

Personally would always choose a T-Bar as you have more options, solid roof in the rain, topless when it's sunny, not to great a difference in insurance costs...

Replacements are standard 60k cambelt etc, cars are bullet proof so if you take care of it you'll have no probs at all :D

Just make sure it has good rubber on it :D

Newera link deleted!

A bit pricey for the REV 3 market. Good ones go for as little as £3000-£3500 with 60k miles on the clock with/without mods.

Thanks for the replies!

That link is not right, should have checked it before!

I have about 6-7k to spend and was hoping for a standard as possible with as few miles as possible?

When were the last turbos made??

Are all turbos imports??

Thanks

All turbo's (GTS) are imports. Only the GTI was sold in the UK.

There's quite a bit of good info here http://toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=11619
