Hi,

I am going to attempt my own first service on my 1993 Cynos and need some info.

What plugs, air filter and oil filter do I need?

Also, getting the square rubber fittings at the ends of the spark plug leads to come up out of the engine block to get at the plugs is proving very difficult. One of them has ripped.

Has anybody got any advice on how to remove them without doing any more damage? I think I also need a new set. Again, any advice (just a basic set no big modded stuff)? Do leads from any other toyota have the same connections?

Thanks,

D

Hello mate.

At home so only have limited access to part numbers and I can only find 1.5 95> but if its any help the Blueprint part numbers are

Oil filter ADT32109

Air filter ADT32244

Fuel filter ADT32323

Leads ADT31609

Plugs K20RU11

I would suggest checking the original parts before fitting though just in case there is differences

Hi Guys,

thanks for all the help and the time/effort, but I eventually gave up and got a service done in a garage. Thought it was for the best as the NCT ripoff is coming up at the end of September.

Cynos is now purring like a kitten. Nearly killed myself when I stood on the brakes though cos they've been tightened :D

TTFN,
