Yep, on Tuesday/wednesday i pick up my Hilux 2.8 (1990 double cab)

nowt special, but needed to cart the race car and its bits around, tis an import aswell, which is what swayed my decission........no rust!!

alas now the Pajero must be sold

indeed.....its a tad slow though, so ive already done a bit of searching, in Australia there are a couple of companys that do Turbo conversions......

cant find much over here though for parts, found Milners, thats pretty much it

Now seeing it Mat it looks just like my Surf only yours is a pick up so if you need any acvice ive always got my Surf in bits (mainly the front end as i keep clogging the rad when going off road.

Im sure if you need parts to lift it or pimp it (if you wanted to) LA Supertrux would have the parts

Good choice of car, Hilux's are as hard as nails

Just one question mate has your Lux got Torsion bar or leaf spring front suspension?

Ive put on 2 pics of my Surf so you can see how close it is to it

indeed they are very very similer, up untill the back door.

it has leaf springs on the front...adjustable shocks aswell, and something under the bonnet i need to investigate some more...called a "power switch" lots of cables, obviously aftermarket....those crazy japs.

my missus likes your front bar...... oh oh......here we go... ;) modding the truck
