Running Probs, Gen 3

Hey, im new here so hi, also i have a Gen 3 '86 Celica gt and im having running problems. Whenever i try to pull away, its just kangaroos. its getting to the point where its doing me nut in, lol. can anyone suggest anything, could a sensor be up the duff or what? Anything would be helpful

Hi. Welcome to TOC. Need more info. What engine is in the car? When was it last serviced? What, if any modifications. Mileage etc. Anything that can help with diagnosis. It`s really dificult to sus something out from a vague description. Cheers. :thumbsup:

sorry boys, its a 2.0 16v injection, not sure when last serviced, done 128k miles, any help. cheers

I`d suggest a full service....... Cam belt (Especially if you don`t know when it was last done) Plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm, oil, fuel & air filters. Run some injector cleaner through the system. That ought to do some good. Hopefully cure the problem. :thumbsup:

All of this has been done since i got it, apart from cambelt, which is fairly new so im going to leave that. its just baffling :(
