Bloody Kids !

My kids have managed to knacker my sliding door handle by constantly yanking it. It wont open from the outside now It will work from the inside. Outside Handle feels slack. Took the door trim off, and realised that i dont have the hands of a child(although i was considering cutting my youngest sons off) or a pet monkey to get inside the tiny holes in the door. Anyone know what has happened and how to fix it ? Cheers Pete
