Got what I thought was a bargain last week.

A 7" TFT screen + DVD player + Amp :D

Fitted it all and the screen pulls of to the side at the top :ffs:

you can reverse the pic and it's on the other side!

Are they repairable or do I need a new one??

Thanks for any help.. Paul

The fact that when you reverse the picture and it goes to the other side tells me the screen itself is fine (no dead pixels etc).. have you gone through the menu's to see if there is an option to adjust the screen viewing area or (to coin an old phrase) vertical hold type of thing?

Does it do it with or discs.. could be a faulty disc?

But i do feel the screen itself is fine if it IS displaying the correct picture when you reverse it.

Sounds like the actual DVD player is malfunctioning. Try a lens cleaner.

Have a camera on the back, & it's the same with that.

That knocks that idea on the head then. As previously mentioned the screen appears to be ok due to the image reversal being proportionate. So perhaps it could be down to a faulty signal reaching the screen? Loose connection would be my next thought. Is there not a fault finder in the instruction booklet? :bookworm:
