Just about to get a Surf, any useful pitfulls to know (not including trying to insure the dam thing!) Cheers

I was warned that the rear window mechanism in the tail gate is prone to glitches due to it being a little vulnerable to the weather, and also the wiring for the heating element can get worn and snap....really needs retractile cord for the wiring to accomodate the uppie downie function of the window.

I have had mine for over a week now and it is great!

Any idea where I can find a workshop manual?

Like a 4Runner, only a station wagon type vehicle. Hi-Lux Surf SSR 2.4 DT etc.
