Tyres For Rav4

I had a Rav4 2.0 from 2003 until 2005 and it was fitted with Bridgestone tyres. In March 2005 I bought a new Rav4 XT3 and afew weeks after buying it I saw that it was fitted with Toyo Transpath tyres.Every Rav i have seen since then , both old and new, have been fitted with Bridgestones.A friend in the motor trade tells me that Toyo tyres are cheap imports and not a patch on the Bridgestones. Has anybody else got Toyos , as I am wondering why I appear to be an exception. Are Toyota now fitting Ravs with these tyres. I have been to my dealership about this and they say they wiill investigate.Has anybody got any observations, as I feel that I have been palmed off with a car with inferior tyres.
