can you yaris folk stop making yaris into a community and mix with other memebers organise a 'toyota owners' meet whether that be any toyota or a member whose car is off the road,

This is a Yaris forum and if members want to meet other Yaris owners they can organise a mini meet for ...................... Yaris owners!

If you want a general Toyota owners meet, organise one!

i think what lee is getting at is that, when there is a meet usually its more on the social side (i mean why go to look at other yari when you bloddy have one already). every time i go to a meet its to see they guys and gals, not bloddy cars, theres freekin yari + mr2's on every bloddy corner :P its like saying why be on an owners club when you dont own............ i rest my case.

im probably going to be busy, but agree with lee, theres no reason not to open this up and put in gen or meets section for west sussex members.. its nice to see fellow yaris yes but its also nice to meet new members, ull get a lot more interested if u do that as at the moment doesnt look like many!!

ive tried to organise a meet in the past, lots of people say yes and 3 turn up, one of those things, people dont want to commit themselves

and others dont want to be excluded even though this is a one off, people ey!

ive had experience organising and going to organised meets, and in my experience ull get a better turn up if u open it up to more people, im not saying u have to but i also dont see what the problem is with doing this.

the reason i say this is because u've organised what u said originally to be a yaris meet but for bournemouth area, theres a few but loads, forum users are spreed across the whole of the country, a heavy load of the frequent users are nothern, to get a decent yaris meet ud have to have a more centralised meet in the country so both norther, southern and midland users can attend!! Thi was done once before and was a very successful meet!!

Now if u only want to have it in the south west area, then all i was doing was offering some advice as to how to get a larger turn up
