60k Service

Hi,

I am about to get my X-Reg 1.8 GS vvt-i Avensis a 60K service. I always thought that it would need a cam belt change, but have been told that it will have a timing chain hence it does not need replacing. I'm not an engine expert, so I would appreciate some advice please.

The dealer is correct, the vvti engine does not have a cambelt, it is chain driven
