i have a st185 and have fitted a induction kit to it, i have read that you should reset the ecu to get the best results.

can i ask how to reset this?

Easiest way is to disconnect the Battery for 60secs :thumbsup:

Or...pull out the ecu/efi fuse(s) instead :thumbsup:

yeah as leeky says just wip out the EFI fuse, then press the break pedal a few times to discharge any stored power. Then re-insert the fuse and be prepared for some crap running and stalling at junctions for a mile or two until it has re-learned what it needs to know :thumbsup:

is the efi fuse the green 15amp one? i tried it but the brake light wouldnt go out after about 7mins. Should i just keep it depressed further?

if i disconnect the Battery will my stereo need the code and will there be other things do you know of.

not sure to be honest, only read about pressing the brake. I think it will still light up, but the ECU reads the signal and clears the ECU memory??

If you remove the Battery you will need your radio code and you will need to set the time. Most aftermarket radios won't have a code anyway

only need tap the brake if removing the Battery imho. removing the fuse kills the ecu circuit dead.
