Got a little problem using the indicators or my tubby. when i indicate to turn right all is ok but when i signal left both sides flash (like using the hazard lights). i removed the flasher unit relay to have a look for corrosion on the terminals but it looks brand new. any ideas guys. ;) because it will prob cost a bomb down at the local auto electricians :!Removed!:

take all the bulbs out and check them too, if they have any rust on them, it will cause the shorting problem.

ok mate will do. thanks

The wiring for the indicators goes through the hazard switch. It could be a faulty hazard switch. You can't easily check them unless you have a mate who will let you borrow his for a test.

Had the same problem on my old nova !

Indicators gor through the hazards as said !

My hazards switch was knakerd, and the lights always 'hazard' flashed instead of indicating.

replaced, and all sorted !
