Mk3 With A Decent Engine In

Very nice.

I did a Toyota track day at Croft a couple of years ago and was asking the Toyota guys there why the 190 engine hadn't appeared in the MR2. They couldn't answer that but said they had heard that a V6 might appear.

Don't see much chance of that now though. :( :(

Since the block is pretty much common I don't think it would require a massive amount of modification to get the 190 engine in the MR2. Difficulty would be getting the larger cylinder head in and the exhaust system to match up properly

I've just bought a MR-S Turbo, my mk2 Turbo goes today. Had it not have had the power enterprise turbine kit fitted I'd have love to have gone along the V6 route in a mk3!

Any more pictures of that particular mk3?

anything that does away with the pezy 140effort is a godsend to the little motors
