St205 Rally Graphix

Hi,

Cant remember if i have posted this before, but does anyone know if it is possible to get hold of a rally art graphix kit for the st205?

Someone told me that all the GT4 rally cars that featured the famous red and green graphics and the castrol/tte logos used a kit which was produced by TTE.

It was a load of transfers which peeled off and stuck on the cars.

Anyone know if this is true? Is it at all possible to get hold of one of these packs?

Thanks guys :hokus-pokus:

By the way i have already e-mailed Toyota Team Europe and also www.trdshop.com but im still waiting for a reply.

I think Redline had the Supra version on there staff car, but I seem to remember they sourced it from Japan. :bookworm:

I wonder if one of the graphics companies could help out with a replicar kit?

Thats seems a cool company, Shane Lynch doesn't drive KA's anymore though!!! Think he's progressed up to GT's now! :D

Sounds about right to me. When I bought my AE111 Corolla there was a World Rally Replica Kit and as an option you could get a Castrol Rally Decal Kit for £293.75p

Thats great, was this offered as an option from the factory?

Can this be bought from any Toyota Dealer do you know?

Hi gt4_wrc,

When I bought my Rolla in 1998 the rally replica kit and decal kit were available from the dealer at that time. I made enquiries about a year later and was told that there were no more to be had so I had to find the parts I wanted seperately. Unless you can find a dealer that still has old stock I doubt that this would still be available. :crybaby::crybaby:

There is a chap on www.celica-club.co.uk who makes them. He is based in England. There is a thread about it somewhere. His car is black so he put on the inverse colours of the Castrol on white design. It grows on you. Try doing a search.

Just to let you know that the trd shop were as much use as a chocolate teapot.

Thanks to superchargedIS200 if you can point me in the right direction.

I gotta get a shift on though cuz i want to get this done for the JAE next month.

Anyone here going?

I found a site that has the model decals (1:24 scale). I guess i could use these to have someone blow them up to full size. Other than this im unsure as to how i would get the design and dimensions.

Hi,

Not sure if this is any help but you might want to contact a signwriters, I managed to get a sunstripe done with a toyota logo. They created it for me and put it on for thirty five quid. Now these places might not do large scale graphics but they probible know who does. Try one in your area and see, could help out.

The company I went to had just finished graphics for a truck so surely they can manage a car.

There is a place in Shinfield, next to the esso garage that do graphics... they may be able to do it for you...

Fair enough but they are easy to fit, I've done some on a motor bike and not one peeled off or bubbled I have also put a few on my car. You just have to be careful and if you get them fitted by a bodyshop or signwriters then you wont have a problem.

Tip: Have two or three mates around if you fit them yourself, as its's a pain in the ase trying to fit the big ones on by yourself, well its almost impossible.
