T-bar Wind Noise

Hi i just wanted to know if my car is normal.

I have a G-Ltd 94, and when I take the roof panels out (windows up) there seems to be quite a bit of wind deflected into the car? most of the wind seems to be deflected by the panel at the rear of the t-bar where the pins for the roof go. is this normal?

I have never driven a t-bar before so I'm not sure, I guess I thought the windflow over the car would be better. If it is normal I can live with it coz I love my car, I guess I'm just a bit worried that maybe something is not aligned properly

Cheers Steve

Whenever I drive my T-Bar I get quite a lot of wind noise, even with windows up etc... I think its pretty normal, especially on Motorways etc... its not so bad driving round town...

There are two little spoiler type things at the front of where each roof panel goes, perhaps check these are both present n correct? They should both pop up when the roof is out and that helps a little...

Other than that I think you might have to live with it hon :)

I drive around with the roof off whenever I can, but have to say I dont get a lot of wind noise.

What I do get at times is a whistling which seems to be caused by wind hitting the seatbelt cord??

Depending on the weather though, very often I dont get any wind noise at all. Especially not where the glass panel pins connect to the chassis of the car.

I think you'll notice in different conditions you'll notice different things

Hello everyone, I'm new on here though I am already a Gold Member.

I have a T-bar which I love, and it is noisy (you need to go to 11 with the stereo! ;) ).

I did notice that if I held down the little pop-up deflector whilst driving, the wind-noise dropped loads?

That can't be right, can it?:unsure:
