There isn't really a uk equivalent of that model.

The UK ST is a 7a-FE engine, 1.8.

The UK GT is a 3S-GE engine 2.0, 170bhp

And then there's the GT4...

Yours falls somwhere in between the ST and GT, with 138 bhp 2.0. It would be closest to the GT I guess.

SS1 = Displacement, cc 1998

Engine model 3S-FE

Max.power (Net), kw(PS)/rpm 140 ps (102.97 kw) / 6000 rpm

E-ST202-BLMGK

TRY NORWICH UNION THEY MAY DO IT AS A UK VARIANT.

THE GEN 6 SS1 HAS THE SAME ENGINE AS THE GEN 5, 2 LTR GTI :thumbsup:

on my V5 it says celica coupe 2 litre and thats it...

I was under the impression that it was an import GT i had so i told tescos that. They gave me a VERY reasonable quote then :)

do you really think they will know the difference between an SS1 and SS2? i doubt it because 99% of dealers have no idea either and advertise there cars as import GT's. Go with what it says on ur V5 imo... surely noone can dispute that

what does it say on your V5?
