Engine Mounts

Hey I haven't had a proper look for myself yet cos I'm lazy but my service report says my rear engine mount has collapsed. I've had a look in the engine bay and noticed that the one on driver's side is a little shredded but can't see one against the firewall. After going to a few spare parts stores and having them tell me they can't find it I'm wondering if this "rear" engine mount might be on the transmission or something that I can't see without going underneath. Any ideas?

yep. i suspect its the one that mounts on the erar of the front subframe to the rear of the gearbox

As dawsey said - it connects the Gear box to the sub frame - mine wen't not to long ago - about 120 quid imported... but then again that was on a 1st gen
