Is This The New Yaris?

Is this the New Yaris? I have a t2 and want to upgrade to a t-sport but dont know whether to hold out to see the new one or go for the t-sport....

Yes......Thats the one........but I dont think the T Sport version will be available for some time yet.

In fact the new one will not be in UK showrooms untill 2006.....according to my dealer

No I think the T-Sport version will be released later on next year - but some excellent pics there - might have to borrow some of them!

They said before it'd be September 2005 - no chance! lol More like Jan 06 I reckon!

I want a T-Sport too so looks like we'll both be waiting Callum!

It will probably take a bit of getting used to, i'm sure it will grow on me but its completely different - not just face lifted like phase1/2. I can't wait to see what the sport will look like...

Thats cause its a completely new car - the P1&P2 is Mark 1 Yaris, this is Mark 2 Yaris - so should be much better (if you can improve on perfection! lol)

On looks alone, not my cup of tea that really...swept windscreen is a little Renault Scenic like. And does the front bumper also include half the bonnet. Will need to take out a second mortgage to replace that!

Apparently the new Yaris has been the best selling car in Japan since it was launched. So it must be alot better than what we can comprehend from the pictures.

No. I read all the car mags and this is not the new Yaris. The new Yaris is way better looking. I've got no idea what that is. Follow the link below for a picture of the new Yaris.

I think its 1.3 petrol, 1.4 diesel and 1.5 T-Sport, with the small possibility of a 1.8 Turbo (errr NOT!)

I dont think they are putting 1.0 engines in this new Yaris because its a much bigger car than this one....

Be nice if they stuck a 2.0 diesel in the range though - that would really go some!
