Quote from the god that is Wikipedia!

Aston Martin was founded in 1914 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. The two had joined together the previous year to sell cars made by Singer. Martin raced specials at the Aston Hill Hillclimb near Aston Clinton, and the pair decided to make their own vehicles. They acquired premises at Abingdon Road in Kensington and produced their first car in March 1915.

The company name was derived from Aston Hill and Lionel Martin.

Damn you woman... *shakes fist and bashes keyboard*

Next time gadget...... next time...

You did however miss the fact that they chose "aston" as it began with an A so it would be at the front section of the classified adverts :P

Ha ha haaa!

Well Wikipedia didnt say about that bit, maybe you should submit it to them for entrance into the Aston Martin information page!

All of my "knowledge" comes from Wikipedia - its like a detachable brain so I never have to bother my own!

Bah.. ferraris are so boring.....

Nothing says "I'm a footballer that wants a flash car" like a ferrari ora porsche... they are shockily built too!!!

The third picture contains a decent car though.... the Black EB110

I'd still rather have a Ferrari F430 or Enzo or F40 or 360 or 355 or 550!

That'll upset you Fidgits! :P

I noticed the F50 wasnt included in that list, here is why it should be

and here

Sorry it should have been, I love everything about Ferrari's! Missed the Testarossa too!

Not a fan of Ferrari's .. the F40 is the only one I'd like .. the F50 and F60 (Enzo) just don't do it for me. They are just getting *too* footballer.

The new Porsche GT is awesome though .. and I'd like a 959 (199mph rally car .. woo hoo).

The new Porsche GT is awesome though ..

I had a nosey at one in the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart and the detailing is awesome - but not as awesome at the sound of the engine being revved in a confined space :D
