Aren't people allowed to have differing opinions? ;)

If they think the T-Sport is a bad car so be it, we know they are good and thats all we need to know! :D

And aye, replacement should be here next year!

In most reviews I've seen they call the T-Sport a "luke-warm hatch", because its not hot and its not cold!

It should really be a hot hatch though!

sorry Em Tsport is not a hot hatch,

civic type R, corrolla Tsport, clio 182 sport they are hot hatchs,

Leave the yaris as a warm hatch its top of its class then

then it wouldn't sell...higher price...much higher insurance catogory...you'd choose the celica or equiv every time!

surprising why they think the 1.0L is the best model. The 1.4 D4D vote would get my vote for all round capability.

Yup .. that was a one off from an British tuning company i believe, but now they've gone out of business and this is sadly just a one off.

But still from what i remembered, it cost £££ for that engine conversion!

I'd still love to have one though!

In my opinion, leave it as a 1.5 fr packaging and weight reasons, also good for insurance. However as a VVTi, 108hp sucks, honda had a 1.5l with 130 hp in the bread and butter civic.

Come'on Mr T, pull your finger out and do it!

Fair comment but name a N/A 1.5 that is quicker than the yaris and still provides everything the yaris can

Anyone remeber oli off here, who had a blue yaris t-sport, well he wanted that engine conversion from the celica t-sport, so he got in touch with that company, and they said it would cost over... wait for it... £120K. So he sed :censor: that, he could of had a ferrari for that, so he went and bought a celica t-sport instead, and now he has a evo 8, not bad considering he is 21!

Tom!

£120K where did they get that from, im sure you can get that power out the 1.5 with a turbo and other bits.

I've seen a few magazines say that the TS isn't that good, so i'm not surprised to see the link. EVO being one of them. They say it needs more of an edge.

I say that it might not be as good on paper in terms of performance figures when up against newer models (i.e. cooper s, 206 gti 180) but its a dam good alrounder and i like it.

We're the people that live with them and only we know how good the car is. Screw the rest!

all the cars that the yaris TS gets compared againt are 2.0's or with a turbo or supercharger so not really fair.

it was once compared (when 1st released) by top gear against a polo 1.6 gti and a seat ibiza 1.6 sport and came out on top

lol since when?? standard tsports are quick for what they are, but there still slow. they will get crap reviews anyway cause the write ups are based on the pII :)
