Hi everyone

Just rented out the ring 2 Was just wondering if anyone on here has seen it? I have seen the first one and thought that it was excellent and so I'm hoping that the second one will be just as good :yes:

I loved the first, but tbh Jerry I heard the second wasnt so good, however it is directed by Hideo Nakata who directed the original Japanese film and the sequel...... :thumbsup:

Thinking about it - it may be worth a watch just for that reason! :thumbsup:

i have a pretty decent cinema system.. we slapped on the grudge (american version) made me jump a few times and thought the croaking girl was behind my sofa

the wife was scared

as the wife is asian and hearing the croaking from the TV.. it was like a 3d effect to the film.. which was cool!

Haven't seen the film....but found this !

You enter your mates phone number and they get a message to check out a video online of the ring.....as soon as the online video finishes they get a phone call saying that they're goinna die in 7 days like in the film!

Good for a laugh maybe :thumbsup:

Great movie :thumbsup: Not as scary as the first one but the second one ties it all up. One part in the film that made jump was the part with the wild stags that started to ram the car. Was awesome special affects i thought.

Imagine that happening to you pride and joy :help: Would take more than a few layers of Meguiars to put that right :lol::lol:

Watched "White Noise" last night.

It was okay, but nothing spectacular.

I thought "The grudge" was good as well Steve.

My little bro can do the croaking sound really well - certainly enough to freak me out...

Those days have now gone when they used to bring out really scary film. The odd jump now and again though the film thats what all the director are doing now :(

Shamefully thats because most of the major studios prefer films laden with special effects rather than a good quality scary story....

Its a bone of contention with me - it doesnt matter if its Harryhausen-esque effects, as long as the story is good (oh and the acting of course - if they cant act the story then theres no point!)

i havnt seen it yet, but my friend has, and she said it wasnt bad at all, till the end bit (not gonna say exactly when and spoil it for those that havnt seen it lol)

and shes a right scardy cat lol

got to agree that most recent scary films, havnt been that scary...

i watched creep - the train one, that was crap

the saw - that was crap and so lame acting

hide and seek - wasnt scary, jst one of those thinging and twisted films

boogyman - was ok.. ok in places.

quite fancy that red eye film that jst out,.. where shes on a plane...

havnt seen that amityville horror yet either.

Amityville is alright caz - not really scary though just makes you jump :eek:

I want to see the ring 2 - obviously ill have to find somebody else to watch it with as rob wont watch it! :rolleyes:
