Toyota Avensis 2.0 Gs D4d 2001

Helleo,

I have the old shape avensis 2.0 d4d 2001 it has done 45,000 miles. The problem i have is when started the engine it shakes a little when stood but when i press the acelerator its fine the shakes go away. The idle is at the right piont just below 1 on rev counter.

I got the fuel cleaner to clean the injectors changed the air filter and oil/filter change etc but still no difference on the shaking.

Please can anyone help.

I had a new avensis with the same 2.0 d4-d has a loan car when mine corolla was being serviced and noticed a bit of vibration but that went once the car was warmed up could not tell it was a diesel it changed my opion on diesels cos i've drove vw diesles they too had vibration on them when cold but was still there when warm but not has bad, also the vw group diesels power band is very small the d4-d dont mind the whole of the rev range being used.
