Advice On Bodykit?

Hi everyone, I'm a new member and as green as the grass when it comes to modifying yaris'. I've got a 2000 GS with the old black plastic bumpers and i'd like nothing more than to get rid of them and put some nice shiny body coloured ones on. Is this possible and if so, where should i look to get them from/have them fitted. Is it possible to do it myself and can i get them sent in the right colour etc etc. You guys (and girls) seem to know what you're doing, so all advice is good!

Your local bodyshop should be able to spray your black plastic bumpers to the same colour as your car. Expect to pay around £100+ but remember to go to a fair few bodyshops to see how their quotes compare.

You can do it yourself, but would look 10 times better if a bodyshop done it!

dont get a bodykit most look horrible and draw the wrong kind of attention to your car. Spraying your orignal bumpers would be a much better option

yeah dont spray them your self, they will look ****. spraying with rattle cans is a no no. even spray guns under the £350 mark don't do a propper job. leave it to the pros

easier and mabey cheaper option is to check around scrap and breakers yars for yari with the same coloured bumpers and swap em over, might be a cheaper option to having them sprayed

Hi and welcome to the club mate!

If you dont mind me asking which part of the midlands you from? Cos i can recommend a place in Birmingham if that's not too far for you. They gave me a good price and did a good job on spraying my front spoiler and wing mirrors.
