Don't know much about the GT4's, but isn't 7.5k a lot of money for one of these?

Not with 16.500 miles on it... Thats virtually a new motor.

That`s exactly what i said. Outstanding..... Hmmm. Next ferry is in 10 minutes..

Sorry, but isn't there the argument that an engine with so few miles on a car that age is worse than a car with loads of miles on it? Unless of course it's a recon..........

Yea. You are right in a way. If for instance the engine oil has been left in for the mileage as opposed to time limit - This could have a detrimental effect due to acids etc. Likewise a car thats been sat around for a few years doing nothing will probably need various bearings & bushes sooner than a regularly used car, as grease & rubber will harden with non use and become innefectual. Especially if it`s not been garaged . It all depends i suppose on what sort of use its had. Again, even if it`s had regular short journeys this can be as bad as not using it at all.

I would have no qualms about buying a 5 year old car with 200,000 miles on it, if they were motorway miles for instance.

But looking at the bigger picture, This has probably got a pristine interior and paintwork. It`s an import which probably means it`s been well looked after, As the !Removed! do tend to nurture their cars - and they don`t use ruddy salt. :D On balance i reckon it`s worth it.
