Emina Headlights

OK, it just failed its MOT on the headlights, it said "NO pattern on both headlights, unable to check aim" What does this mean, is there any adjustment, what next, does it need knew sealed untis or bulbs. If it is the sealed units, how do you take the whole of the front of the car apart to get them out. Help I am really stuck now, need to sort this out quick. regards David
