Airbag Warning Light & Heater Fan

I am a newbie to the site & have done a few searches for this but can't find anything - apologies in advance if this has been covered previously.

We have a '98 2.0 Avensis (184k miles & still going !) and need help with the following :

- The airbag warning light is permenantly on, any suggestions were to start ?. Will the light need reseting if I find the fault & do I need a dealer to do this ?

- Idle speed is high (c. 1,500 rpm) when the engine is cold , it then settles down when it's warmed up. I have previously cleaned the throttle body and this helped. Should I be looking at anything else ?

- The heater fan stopped working on anything but top speed. I have had this problem on a non-Toyota and replacing the resistor cured it, is this likely to be the same ? , if so where is it located ?

Thanks in advance

John
