Most Garages Wont Touch Mr2 Turbo

Is there anybody in this forum from Newcastle, England, coz there is a strange lack of garages in the area that will touch the MR2 turbo, even the toyota dealership wont, someone

Where abouts are ya based m8?

Goto either Envy (theyre in Bedlington) or try HR Fastfit, pretty much in the city centre. They're just off the roundabout leading to Jesmond, if you're going from the uni's. They work on my N/A, and i don't think they'll have a prob with the tubby.

It's an import... It's rear wheeled etc.

A lot of places will use those excuses, or something along those lines!

I've spoken to 4 or 5 Toyota dealerships in the north london area, all of which will work on tubby's.

I heard that Toyota sent a memo to all dealerships in the UK saying that they could now work on Imports (simply because of the extra money they'll make cos there's so many out there now)!

thats true toyota did send out the memo, but at the end of the day dealerships can do what they want to a certain extent.

I'd rather have my car at either of the above places cos they're 110% trustable with my car :)

and would you even trust tem? i took mine to a garage for the knock sensor and he stood at the front of the car waitin for me to pop the bonnet so he could check the engine, would you leave your car with a monkey like that?
