Changing Radio/cassette

Hi, we have just bought an older Avensis, seems a fine motor. I want to change the ancient radio/cassette for a CD player. Do you have to take the unit apart from behind the gear change as in later models? thanks Steve.

Hi steve, you'll find most of the Center of the dash will "pull out", the unit then screws in behind that panel that you pull out and put back.
