Noise In Boot

Got a little problem here.

Got a JBL GTO 1200 sub in the back of the car. When turned on to a 'normal' level a strange buzz shaking noise comes from the centre of the boot just by the number plate. When the boot is open the noise goes. I have stripped the boot and can not find the problem, any ideas

Turn the sub off :P

take the plate off and screw it in putting a couple of rubber washers between the plate and the body, should fix it

guys just had the plate off and put rubber bands on the slots - Sub can boom all night long - cheers

my issue with my stereo is boot rattle.. I don't know where if it's something inside or the whole boot shaking around :/ My number plates have foam between them and the body and they don't rattle.. and the box has been fiberglassed on the inside and carpeted on the outside.. and the boot is lined with sound deadening carpet. It's only when they're really punching not just mid volume so any ideas?
