Yep. Curren. Not too common in UK but a dime a dozen in NZ. There's more of them than ST202's on the road over there from what I could tell two weeks ago when I was home.

All Jap imports.

Unfortunately mines only the economy 3SFE :( although it's still not too bad accelerating and good for 140 odd PS, so it's :) rather than :D but I love the looks of it and it does turn heads!

Got some imformation on the Curren, 4 models where made, ZS sports collection,ZS ,XS ,TS.

The ZS has a 2.0 ,3S-GE engine under the bonnet, with 180 BHP motor, (170 if an auto ).

The XS has a 3S-FE ,2.0 140 BHP engine.

And last of all the TS has a 1.8 4S-FE engine with onlt 125 BHP.

So with 140 BHP under your foot it should go pretty well.

If your not sure which model you have ,you can check by looking at the silver chassis plate ender the bonnet....

E-ST206-DCMVF , 2.0 ZS model.

E-ST206-DCMGK, 2.0 XS model.

E-ST208-DCMSK, 1.8 TS model.

Hope thats some help:D.

Model shown is the ZS with a TRD bodykit B) .

A Curren in the states?

No my friend, they are called Celica Coupes in America, and have the normal celica hood and fascia, and are only available with the 7AFE (107 hp) or 5SFE (130 hp) both very anemic and performance lacking motors.
