Focusing Headlights ?

I changed recently (with a lot of pain! ) a light bulb on my right headlight (55W H7)

Although I double checked that the lamp was well inserted in its fitting, I noticed that the light does not project a single bright disk against a wall (likewise the righthand beam) but rather a ring of light, with dark in the middle.

It is like when you use a maglite an you do no set the correctly focus (by rotating the optical of the lamp).

The mechanic (not Toy dealer) just had a quick look and just adjusted the height of the beam, but nothing about focus.

Any clues ??

You got the bulb wrong way, I'm sure. Don't tell me about changing it, it's real pain. When I got my new Avensis, I've changed the headlight bulbs for 4000K by Bosch. Took me some skin to change the one at the front of water deposit.

There is no way to focuse it. If you're sure you put the bulb right way, then bulb might be broken somehow. First thing will be to try the other one. I know, it's damn difficult to change it. If it's not a bulb, then you dislocated the headlight mirror.
