Don't know what the problem could be........but im sure somebody will be along later!

What I would do if I was you would be to call Mr T and get it booked in asap if your warrenty runs out soon!

Sounds a bit like plugs or similar ?

Also speaking to Camshaft the other day and he mentioned a similar issue to do with air/fuel supply getting confused on the ecu.

Have you tried the good old - Battery off - wait 10 minutes - Battery back on technique?

At least it would prove it isnt a sensor error or similar?

after trying what clarky suggests, take it toyota asap before the warrenty runs out like dave said

Jay

if you want to reset ecu best to pull fuse out instead of Battery. cos then it JUST resets the ecu not everything electrical. anf less hassle.

hi

i'll give the ecu a go later when i leave work as for the sparkplugs they where change at the last service 40k a few weeks ago

mind come to think of it it was a bit crap in the morning 6:30 and damp but seem to be ok in the afternoon when it was hot yesterday ?

i'll get the toolkit out and check the connectors on the sparkleads if i can...

just a thought hope its not the cat on the way out
