Avensis 2000 Manual

Could anyone help I have been trying to get hold of the Avensis Workshop Manual but I have been given the runaround by the Dealer. Does anyone know of a similar make of Toyota (e.g) Carina E perhaps, for which a manual exists by Haynes which covers the same or close to the same engine and electrical schematics as the Avensis 1.8 Hatchback? Thanks in anticipation.

Is engine VVT-i or leanburn. 98 - 00 models have same leanburn engine as previous Carina so Haynes manual for Carina will help but I would assume that the electrics are different. The VVT-i engine was introducted in either 00 or 01 and Haynes do not have manual for this. They are introducing one in Summer 2006, it was supposed to come out this year :ffs:
