Revs @ 70mph

Hi

Could all you 190 and Tsport drives help with just a quick question.

What Revs are you doing at 70 mph in 6th gear? I'm doing 3500k it just feels a bit on the high side.

Also has anybody changed the passenger window switch to a auto switch? or does mr T sell the switch on its own?

Now had the Tsport for 5 days and loved every moment, its completly different to the 140's I 've had. B)

3500 sounds about right because it's quite a revvy engine.

Sure someone with a T-Sport will be along to confirm it soon :D

Used to have a 190 and I recall that it had similar gearing. Even though it has six gears they are all spaced so that you can just about keep it in the power band between changes. Personally I'd have prefered a longer 6th gear as even in 6th you feel like you want to change up when you're cruising at 70mph.

On the other hand, it's tremendous fun.

Not the VVTLi 190, but ISTR my VVTi 140 being around 3,250rpm @ an indicated 70mph.

(which is pretty much the same as all my other cars/engines, 7A-FE, 3S-GE)
