Condensation Inside Headlights...

I had condensation inside my righthanside headlight.

I was told that this is a known problem covered by waranty.

However, since the lefthanside was so far Ok there was not need to replace it.

Do you any of you have had any problem on the lefthanside or the problem concerns only righthanside one ??

He did not want to change BOTH, since only one was a problem.

I would be really upset if condensation would occur on the other one... few month after warranty expires...

Just had the same problem with fog lights. The passenger side has been changed four times under warranty. Dealer said it was a bad batch of lights.

Dealer also told me they had never had the problem with fog lights but had had condensation problems with headlights. So there have been other cases like yours.

I had both headlights replaced under warranty within a few weeks of buying the car.

Before replacing the lights my dealer replaced the seals on the back of the light unit (which is supposed to solve the condensation problem) but the condensation became worse. Lights did not just have light condensation...water was actually dripping down the inside of the light unit.
