To everyone who owns a turbo, what insurance companies are you with and what do you pay a year etc.............Iam 23 and still can't get a quote of anyone :o :ffs:

1600 (tad shy) rev3 t-bar tubby. Me = 21, 0 NCB.

Think there are a few other places people posted (might wanna try the search) where you could get cheaper insurance.

I've not fully checked yet, but now I know I can get a tubby I'm on the hunt for one!

Try Sky Insurance (import insurance) http://www.skyinsurance.co.uk/ 0870 1121 759 . They advertise on the MR2OC (google search). I got a quote from them (you'll have to join MR2OC for discount) whcih came out at £621 Fully Comp. I'm 26, 5 years no claims, Cat 1 alarm, and kept in the garage and limited to 8000 miles a year.

Ouch! :o Not even a Tubby!!! It's the age thing I guess, although I don't think Elephant would even quote me another random Ins Co wanted to charge me about £1925 with 6Yrs NC. Told them I'd think about it! LOL

limited millage, but added my mum as an aditional driver saved £200 !!

24 with 2 years NCB, pay £705 a year fully comp. ( Directline)

I find it odd really, cuz i had an N/A and was paying £904 with just 1 years NCB last year. Some how the turbo is cheaper to insure.

i pay 1k fully comp for my rev 3 turbo, all mods declared, turbo, ecu, roll cage etc, power listed as 400bhp with adrian flux, 24yr old 7yrs ncb

then i pay 680 fully comp for my rev 1 turbo, as standard with 0 ncb through elephant
