hi iam wondering if it is worth putting a turbo lump in instead of the FSE???????

is it worth all the hassle or just go out and buy the whole car, as my motor is in pretty good nick, just wantin extra bumphage !! :group-cuddles:

You're looking at £2000-£2,200 to supply and get the 3SGTE fitted. Considering you can buy a 1992 Tubby for about that sorty of price (Maybe £2500), you've got to ask, Is it worth it?? You won't get anywhere near your money back if you do do a transplant. I'd say you'd be better to buy a Tubby outright and sell the GTI/G-Limited. Just my opinion.

Agreed.

To fit a tubby lump is very expensive, and involves alot of work.

I paid £2500 for my tubby a year ago, and she's mint, so im damned sure you could get one for the price of a trnasplant !
